Lectures that will not be broadcast via Facebook Live and will ONLY be available in person at the museum:

  • “The Mackinac Bridge, Then and Now” by Kim Nowack, Executive Secretary/CEO
  • “The Wright Brothers: The Power of Persistence” by Cameron S. Brown, Former State Senator
  • “The History of the Assembly Line” by Don LaCombe, Automotive Historian

13April2014 Dr. Tom George and Von Washington Jr. spoke at the Gilmore Car Museum Sunday afternoon. George spoke of President Lincoln’s visit to Kalamazoo and Washington covered President Obama’s visit.

The Museum’s annual Lecture Series is a highly anticipated event! Every Sunday afternoon at 3pm starting January 17, 2021 through April, museum guests can enjoy a different guest lecturer each weekend speaking on a variety of intriguing topics. Admission to each lecture is included with regular museum admission or $5.00 per person if you do not wish to tour the museum before or after the lecture. Lecture series admission is FREE to Museum Members.
