The Gilmore Car Museum, near Kalamazoo, MI is the stage for the Bike Friendly Kalamazoo “Through the Decades Bluegrass Style” outdoor concert featuring Schlitz Creek Bluegrass Band on Saturday, September 19, from 4:00 pm- 6:00pm on the museum’s historic campus.
The cost to attend is just the price for admission to the museum which is $16 Adults 18 years and over and $11 for youth 11 – 17 years. Come early and enjoy the Gilmore Car Museums 90-acre, socially distanced, historic campus and more than 20 buildings. There are must see new exhibits such as the American Graffiti showcase.
The Schlitz Creek Bluegrass band hails from “the mountains of Kalamazoo” and features “Bluegrass with some bite.” Using the classic single-microphone technique, their high energy stage show has transformed Schlitz Creek into a crowd favorite.
The concert will take place on the Campania Barn show grounds so guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to enjoy the outdoor concert. Be sure to come early as there is limited capacity as well as face coverings required indoors and in several outdoor areas as well.
For this concert Schlitz Creek has put together a special selection of music through the decades Bluegrass style. Don’t miss the hot pickin’ and smooth vocal harmonizations of the Schlitz Creek Bluegrass Band!
As a bonus there will also be a Summer Saturdaze Starring Fords featuring Mustangs Car Show happening from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. All Fords are welcome and Mustangs will be the stars!
