The Gilmore Car Museum’s annual Winter Lecture Series is highly anticipated every year! Every Sunday afternoon at 3 pm January through April visitors can enjoy a different guest presenter speaking on a variety of intriguing topics. Admission to each lecture FREE for members, included in general admission and is just $5.00/person if you're only coming to take in the Lecture!
"The Dust Bowl" by John Burton -- Historian and Robin Nott -- Musician
Robin Nott has been a Fine Arts educator since 1973. Nott founded and directed the Gull Lake Community Schools Performing Arts Company from 1987 to 2015. Nott has also directed theatre for Western Michigan University (6 yrs.) and The Circle Theatre of Grand Rapids (10 yrs.). Nott is a storyteller and folk singer as well, entertaining since 1983 under the name "Shadygrove Storytelling." Nott has been volunteering with GCM since 2015 in the areas of education team tours & presentations, driving the classics, speaker series presenter, G.R. Auto Show staff, and he created the "Many Voices" GCM auto story collection program. Nott's classic country band "Double Strung" also plays for GCM events on occasion.
