"Buying and Restoring Your Own Antique Car" by Kevin Fleck -- Historian and Collector and John Hansen -- Automotive Inspector and Appraiser

John Hansen is the owner of Michigan Automotive Inspection Services, a consultancy firm which provides pre-purchase inspections, appraisals, and proxy auction services for both national and international clients. Working as the “eyes and ears” of his clients, John travels the country inspecting, authenticating, and appraising antique and specialty automobiles for collectors and enthusiasts all over the world, enabling them to safely purchase a car from states or continents away, sight unseen. John is also an automotive writer, whose work has been featured in the recently published book ‘Classic Car Adventures’ as well as MSN, Yahoo and the automotive specialty website Motorious. He currently serves on the Education Committee for the Gilmore Car Museum, and is the chief judge for the Red Barns Spectacular car show.
