Herbert H. Franklin, founded the H.H. Franklin Company in Syracuse, NY in 1902, and continued to build air-cooled cars until 1934.
Founded in 1951 to preserve the legacy of America’s most successful air-cooled automobile, the club’s Franklin Collection is housed in a re-creation of the famed Ralph Hamlin auto dealership of Los Angeles, circa 1918. This permanent exhibit includes automobiles, engines, and artifacts that span the four-decade history of the H.H. Franklin Company.
