Hailed as one of the Nation's TOP FIVE car museums and named Michigan's #1 Historic Auto Site by Pure Michigan, the Gilmore Car Museum is openyear-round and features nearly 300 extraordinary vehicles from all eras. Here you will find exhibits ranging from a 1899 Locomobile, to the classic Duesenberg or the elusive Tucker '48, and from the Model T to the muscle cars of the 60s and 70s.
To get the most out of your visit, we recommend you allow at least 2.5 - 3 hours and wear comfortabe shoes--There's a lot to see! You'll also want to plan on a snack or lunch in the CAFE or our authentic 1941 Blue Moon Diner.
The Gilmore Car Museum is just 20 minutes from I-94 or US-131 and is located midway between Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Lansing and Battle Creek, Michigan. All buildings are wheelchair accessible and a limited number of wheelchairs are available in the Museum Store for guest use on a first come - first serve basis.
