Cameras Encouraged!
Hailed as one of the Nation's TOP FIVE car museums and named Michigan's #1 Historic Auto Site by Pure Michigan, the Gilmore Car Museum is open daily year-round and features nearly 300 extraordinary cars and motorcyles from all eras. Here you'll find exhibits ranging from vehicles of the 1890s to the classic Duesenberg, the elusive 1948 Tucker, to the cars of the 1950s, as well as Corvettes, Supercars and beyond.
Additionally our Historic Campus, a 90-acre park-like setting of vintage buildings full of vehicles, is open from April 1 through November 30.
To get the most out of your visit, we recommend that you allow at least 2.5 - 3 hours, and wear comfortable shoes - there's a lot to see! You'll also want to plan on a snack or lunch in our Cafe or authentic 1941 Blue Moon Diner. All buildings are wheelchair accessable with two upper levels accessed by large ramps. A limited number of wheelchairs are available from the Museum Store.
The Gilmore Car Museum is just twenty minutes from I-94 and US-131, located midway between Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and Lansing, Michigan.
Whether you have only an hour to spend or the better part of the day you'll find the Gilmore Car Museum offers an Out of the Ordinary experience.
