1974 Foyt Indy 500 Racecar
First Four Time Indy 500 Winner!
Legendary race-driver A. J. Foyt became the first person in history to win the famed Indianapolis 500 four times. With wins in 1961, 1964, and 1967 he drove to victory in 1977 with a Gilmore #14 car nearly identical to this one. Foyt was sponsored from 1973 to 1985 by Gilmore Racing, operated by Kalamazoo, MI businessman Jim Gilmore (nephew of museum founder Donald Gilmore).
