Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum
The Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Lincoln Motor Car Museum occurred on June 1, 2013. Once the building is complete, the Lincoln Motor Car Foundation will own and administer the Lincoln museum building and collections, while the Gilmore Car Museum will provide the day-to-day maintenance of the buildings and collections. The Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum is patterned after the P.J. Platte Lincoln dealership, which was originally constructed in the early 1920s at 3700 Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, Michigan
The Gilmore Car Museum invites everyone to celebrate the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum’s Grand Opening on Saturday, August 9th, 2014, with a special Dedication Ceremony at 1:00 p.m.
